Madalaina (Maddie)'s Story

Seems like yesterday! NOT!! While my first 18 years were spent on Disney Avenue in Brooklyn Park, I've been around the block a few times since 1969. I've lived in Daytona Beach, FL, Winston-Salem, NC, Herndon, Reston, and Amissvile, VA and now Savannah, GA. I was a Baltimore Colts cheerleader (remember the Baltimore Colts?) in 1969-1970, (loved Don Shulla) moved to Florida, then North Carolina, then back to the D.C. area, where I was a Washington Redskinette in the mid 70's. I feels like it was "Another Life". I'm married to a great guy and recently moved to The Landings in Savannah, GA. We love the charm and beauty of Savannah and the Georgia Coast. I have one daughter from a previous marriage and a daughter and son from my husband's previous marriage; they are all in their 30's and doing very well. ess in 1993 providing meeting planning and conference management to not-for-profit associations and federal government agencies. We've grown to a staff of ten people who keep everything running smoothly. It's been a good ride, but I'm looking forward to retirement in the next few years, so I can relax, travel, go boating, garden and generally enjoy life in the Low Country. My mother, Frances Jones, is still living on Disney Avenue and I visit several times a year. I look forward to the Fall BPHS Class Reunions and enjoy seeing folks from high school. My brother, Linwood, lives in Virginia, but visits Disney Avenue about half time. My bother, Daniel, lives in Pasadena, MD and my sister, Sylvia, lives in New Windsor, MD. I've love to hear from old friends and classmates from BPHS. I have very fond memories of my formative years there. Don't get me wrong, it got a lot better after high school. :)
